Named one of America’s Top Dentists, Dr. Berenshteyn employs his extensive education and recognized expertise, state-of-the-art tools and technology, and exceptional passion to consistently help patients achieve their desired results. Supported by an outstanding professional team, he owns and operates growing practices in Clifton Park, Albany, Latham, Glens Falls, Schenectady and East Greenbush, NY, all of which are entirely digital and feature iTero Digital Scanners, which have replaced traditional molds to enable braces that fit better, work faster, and yield improved outcomes.

Dr. Berenshteyn is committed to individually assessing each patient and developing the best possible treatment to address their unique personal health and aesthetic concerns. This includes discussing the motivations for seeking treatment, reviewing medical and dental history, and performing a thorough exam so that patients can make informed and educated decisions.

A board-certified specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Dr. Berenshteyn earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He completed an additional year of general practice residency, followed by two years of post-graduate orthodontic training at the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan. Concurrently with his orthodontic training, Dr. Berenshteyn completed a master’s thesis project and obtained his M.S. degree, along with his orthodontic certification. He gained further recognition for his academic and clinical achievements by being selected for membership in the prestigious Alpha Sigma Nu, and he was later invited to join the Angle Society.

A member of both the American Dental Association and the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Berenshteyn is deeply committed to enhancing the community in which he lives and works. He made the largest-ever donation of orthodontic treatment in the Capital Region, providing braces to 25 children in need whose families could not otherwise afford them. He annually donates custom-made mouthguards to protect dozens of student-athletes from a host of area high schools; has supported numerous fundraisers, career fairs, 5K races, and other school and community activities; and provides paid internships to high school students interested in orthodontic careers. In 2019, he was recognized by the Albany Business Review as one of the Capital Region’s 40 Under 40, a distinction that identifies him among the area’s top emerging executives.

Dr. Berenshteyn resides in Guilderland, NY with his wife, Biana, a family practice PA, and their two children, Emma and Joseph.
